๐ Pride In Place โ Drop-In Sessions and Online Survey ๐
Pride in Place is fast approaching. Heartsease and Pilling Park have been awarded up to ยฃ20 million over the next 10 years by the UK Government to improve your neighbourhood โ and local people will decide how it's spent. Whether that's improving green spaces, creating new facilities, or supporting local services, the priorities will be set by the community, not the council.
The three guiding principles are:
โข Thriving places: that are greener, safer and better-connected
โข Stronger communities: activities and spaces that bring people together
โข Empowering people to take back control: decisions made by you, not for you
To make sure that your important community voices are heard, an online survey for Pride in Place is now live, asking for your views on what you love about the neighbourhood, and what could be improved. This will help to identify the main areas of priority for the programme moving forward.
Take the online survey here: https://gettalking.norwich.gov.uk/heartseaseandpillingpark/surveys/survey
For those who would prefer a paper copy of the survey, these can be completed at one of the several drop-in sessions at St Francis Church, Heartsease, Norwich and Pilling Park Community Centre over the next couple of weeks, where people can come and meet the team involved, and share their views and ideas through an informal chat. No need to book, just turn up for a chat and a cup of tea. See dates below:
Thursday 21 May โ 10-12am at St. Francis Church, Heartsease
Friday 22 May โ 10-12am at Pilling Park, Community Cafe
Thursday 28 May โ 10-12am at St. Francis Church, Heartsease
Friday 29 May โ 10-12am at Pilling Park, Community Cafรฉ
These are exciting times for our communities. But we need your voices to be heard! The online survey and drop-in sessions are a perfect place to start the conversation.
