Ipswich Road United Reformed Church, Norwich

Ipswich Road United Reformed Church, Norwich We worship at 9.45am weekly and then at 6.00pm on the first Sunday in the month. We also run a number of different midweek activities for all ages.

We are a lively community of around 75 people – children, young people and adults – with diverse interests, but bound together by friendship and a spiritual search. About 60 of us have made a personal commitment to follow the example of Jesus Christ by becoming Church Members. We strive to serve our local communities of Tuckswood and Eaton Rise, through our youth and children’s work, coffee drop-i

n, prayer and Bible study groups, and worship. Our buildings are also used by a wide range of local groups and clubs. Whether you consider yourself a committed Christian or someone just looking for a new sense of purpose, there is a place for you within the Ipswich Road URC community. Please do come and find out more, or contact us via our website.

Today, we celebrate an important moment in the life of our church.
After thoughtful conversation, prayer, and discernment, the Church Meeting at Ipswich Road has voted in favour of registering our building for the marriage of same‑sex couples.
This decision reflects our commitment to welcome and inclusion, and our belief that God’s love embraces all.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the process with such grace, honesty, and care.
