NORWICH CIRCUIT is seeking to appoint a full-time

Assistant LAY PASTOR (Chinese Ministry)
Bowthorpe Road Methodist Church

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic person to assist ministry through pastoral care, worship leading and supporting the church’s mission especially for our Chinese community.

Bowthorpe Road is a predominantly Chinese Language speaking church with an evolving English-Speaking service. The postholder will be required to be fluent in Cantonese (ability to communicate in Mandarin and English is preferrable).

They will have an understanding of, or a willingness and ability to learn, the social, cultural and language difficulties facing different generations of Chinese immigrants in the UK.
£26,208 -£30,648 per annum (Depending on experience)

40 hours per week

An occupational requirement exists for the post holder to be a practising Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. The successful applicant will require a satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure and successful completion of safer recruitment checks.
