The Cathedral of St John the Baptist

The Cathedral of St John the Baptist โ›ช Cathedral of St Johns the Baptist, Norwich
๐Ÿ™ Mother Church of the Diocese of East Anglia
๐Ÿ›๏ธ Second Largest Catholic Cathedral in the UK

After nearly a century as the parish church of the Catholic community in Norwich it became the mother church of the new diocese of East Anglia in 1976. It now takes its place with its โ€˜elder sisterโ€™, the Anglican cathedral which is located in the centre of the city. Norwich is one of the few English cities to have two cathedrals and, over the last 30 years, we have grown closer in a spiritual and

practical partnership. As well as being a beautiful building St Johnโ€™s is a place of prayer that is open every day to all who come in search of peace and tranquillity. It is also the home of a large parish community.

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Win a Brand-New Notre Dame LEGOยฎ Set and Support Our Cathedral! ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ

Last year, we were generously donated two brand-new Notre Dame LEGOยฎ sets by Ross and Jenny Mason.

After learning more about Rossโ€™ story and his relationship with the faith, we felt the most fitting way to honour this gift was to raffle the sets in support of a cause close to Rossโ€™ heart, which also played a key role in the growth of his faith.

๐ŸชŸ All proceeds from the raffle will go towards the restoration and conservation of our beautiful stained glass windows, helping to preserve them for future generations.

๐ŸŽซ Tickets are ยฃ1 each or ยฃ5 per book.
๐Ÿ“… Draw date: Saturday 11 July at 2.30pm

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ How to enter:
Purchase tickets from the Narthex Admin Office, after selected Sunday Masses, or online.

You can read more about the donation and how this project began here:
