Remember - our church hall is available for hire for all your events. (Ideal for Christenings and children’s birthday parties!) That includes the use of 2 rooms and the kitchen.

Yesterday was Pentecost Sunday. We thought about the different talents and gifts that our congregation have and about how, if we use all the gifts God has given us, then we can make our church feel like this rainbow pompom bowl - full of colour and joy! 🌈

😀 Something exciting is happening this Sunday!

🌟It’s our first ever official Welcome Church Service! Each month we will be learning about a different bible story as told by the storytellers bible.

🌈 This month our theme is Joseph the Dreamer. Together we are going to listen to and learn about the story of Joseph and the Dreamcoat, sing some songs, say some prayers, enjoy a colourful water play activity and eat some yummy food! There will also be children’s toys and colouring pages 😊

We really hope to see you in the church hall this Sunday (tomorrow) at 10:45am 🥳

There’s lots happening at Christ church over the next few days!
Our crafted Easter on Sunday morning will be one not to miss. The lovely crafty people of our church community have been working hard to turn our church into an Easter wonderland full of beautiful flowers and craft displays!
And there will be an Easter egg hunt after the 10:45am Sunday service too.
We hope that we can help you to celebrate the joy of Easter this season. 🥰🐰

What is Palm Sunday?

Palm Sunday marks the day when Jesus first rode into Jerusalem, knowing that he would make the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Jesus rode in on his donkey, his followers laying palm branches at his feet. At that time palm branches were considered a symbol of peace - something that Jesus had brought to many people in the bible.

Palm Sunday also marks the first day of Holy Week, a special time where we think about Jesus’ time in Jerusalem before he was crucified.

Churches around the world will be celebrating Palm Sunday with palm crosses, a special cross made from palm fronds and blessed with a Palm Sunday prayer before being handed out to congregations.

Matthew 21:9
"The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, 'Hosanna to the Son of David!' 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!' 'Hosanna in the highest heaven!'

This morning it’s Breakfast Church in the church hall. Join us as we look at the story of The House on the Rock.

🎶This month, choir master Ben will be joining us at Breakfast Church to help us learn some new songs. 🎵

We will also have a sand pit, Lego table and a special challenge for everyone to complete.

💖There is something for everyone to enjoy so if you havn’t been before or you are a regular breakfast church member - we look forwards to seeing you this morning at 10:45am!

We would love for you to join us for our lent course this year. Starting on Monday 23rd 7:30pm at BARNTON METHODIST CHURCH we are joining together to explore our faith with ‘Talking Jesus’.

The course is designed for all levels of faith so whether you are just beginning you faith journey or you are looking to strengthen your connection we would love to see you.

The course is free to attend however a suggested donation of £1.50 will cover all the course resources.
