Everyone is welcome to the St John's Green Fair on Saturday, June 27th, from 1 pm - 4 pm at St John’s Church & Garden in Sandiway (CW8 2JU).

Entry is free for all!

Explore our variety of eco-friendly stalls and activities, including:

🌿🦋 Calling all nature detectives! 🐜🌼

Looking for a fun, free, and fresh-air-filled morning for the whole family?

Come and join our Church Family Wildlife Gardening Group!

Whether you're a seasoned bug hunter or just love being outdoors, we need your help to discover and record the amazing wildlife living right in our church garden.

📅 When: Saturday, 13th June
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
📍 Where: The Church Garden
👥 Who: Everyone is welcome! (Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

What’s happening?

We’ve got everything you need to become a wildlife explorer for the morning:

🕵️‍♂️ Scavenger hunts for the kids (and young at heart!)

🔍 Spotter’s guides & identification charts to help us track down our wild neighbors.

Why is this so important?

Our event is part of the nationwide Love your Burial Ground Week & Churches Count on Nature (running from June 6th–14th).

Church grounds are absolutely vital habitats for UK wildlife, and the data we gather will be doing some real good!

📊 All of our findings will be shared with the charity Caring for God’s Acre to help map wildlife distribution across the UK.

It will even be uploaded to the National Biodiversity Network Atlas - making it free and accessible to everyone.

So grab your magnifying glasses, bring your enthusiasm, and let’s count some nature together!

The Green Fair, Saturday June 27th, 1-4pm, in St. John’s Church and Garden

Following last year’s enjoyable afternoon, the St. John’s Eco Team are organising another Green Fair.

Again it will be an opportunity for the church and village to come together to celebrate our local environment and to meet some of the people who work hard to enhance and protect our bit of the world and encourage the next generation to do the same.

There will be activities, games, talks, eco-friendly items for sale, refreshments and live music.

Everyone is welcome!

A great afternoon for all ages.

Entrance is free though some stalls will be selling items.

We look forward to seeing you!
