This Sunday is a United service in our parishes so we only have one service at 9.30am which St James church is hosting. Sadly if you turn up at Dallington at 11am you will have missed it 🙁 so please do come to St James at 9.30am.

Happy Ascension day everyone.

We join in praying for all those who are to be ordained this summer, but invite you in particular you remember our Assistant Curate, the Reverend Nicolas Boisson.

He is to be ordained priest on Ascension Day, Thursday 14th May 2026 at at service beginning at 7.15pm celebrated by the Bishop of Richborough. All are most warmly invited to attend. Please be in your seats by 7pm.

Father Nicolas will offer the Mass for the first time during a Votive Mass of the Holy Spirit to be offered the night after, Friday 15th May 2026 at 7.15pm.

Our evening worship is programmed to coincide with the end of night parking charges.

Please remember him, and all those involved, in your prayers.

Some lovely local youngsters are taking part in a charity walk. From Glenside the amazing young people and staff team are going to complete the Leicestershire 3 Peak Challenge on 16th May 2026.
They are hoping to raise £3,000. So, any donation would be greatly appreciated.
"Walk the Distance, Change a Life"

WiNurture will be teaming up with the Hope Centre, to complete a 12 mile walk on the 16/05/2026 around the Leicestershire Peaks.
