Good morning everyone!! We hope you are all enjoying your summer?

Little Fishes will be recommencing at Abington Church Rooms on Monday 21st September at 10 am. We are really looking forward to welcoming back those of you who are already part of the Little Fishes family but are also excited to meet new babies and children with their carers. All are very welcome.

Good afternoon everyone!

It was so lovely to welcome lots of children with their parents, grandparents and carers. Today was our last morning until we recommence on Monday 21st September.

Revd Jun explained that Cathy is stepping down as Abington Church's Children and Youth Missioner. This means that when we return after the summer holiday, Cathy will be helping at LF as a volunteer, alongside the other wonderful volunteers. Cathy and Dorothy have loved being involved with LF for over four years and are very grateful for everyone's friendship and support. Thank you everyone ❤️

Good luck to all the children moving on to new opportunities. Amelia, Andrew, Hazel, Ella and Amiah are starting school in September. We send our love to all of you and your families.

We also celebrated Amelia and Hazel's fourth birthday and Harrison's third birthday. God bless you all! 🎉🥰.

What a lovely, relaxed time we had at the church this morning! Some of us walked to the bandstand to play. Then we looked for flowers to make a pretty picture. Others enjoyed the cool of the church and the toys in the Tower Room. Back at the church we enjoyed our snack time under the big magnolia tree and then thanked God for his wonderful world! We put our candles on the tree!

Next week (13th) we plan to be back at the Rooms unless it is very hot!! Please check next Monday where we are meeting!! This will be our last Little Fishes before the school summer holidays commence.

Good evening everyone!! It was lovely to see you all this morning at Abington Church 'Little Fishes' Baby and Toddler Group. It was good to welcome Sadie and Faelan. We hope you join us again! It was also lovely to celebrate Dougie's 1st birthday (today!) and Phoebe's 2nd birthday. Happy birthday!!

We also welcomed Dawn from the Northampton Family Hub, who encouraged families to use the extensive services that they provide.

Next Monday we will be meeting at the church (opposite the children's playground in Abington Park). All are welcome!!

Thank you to all of you who have made donations for the local Food Bank and for our Summer Fete.
The fete is this coming Saturday (4th July) from 2 pm to 4 pm at the church. Do come and join us for some traditional fete fun!

Due to the hot weather we have decided to cancel Little Fishes tomorrow (Monday 22nd June). Apologies if this decision disappoints you but the Rooms will be very hot!!

Good afternoon everyone!! Thank you to all of you who joined us at Little Fishes today. We had a happy time together and our theme was Water!! This followed on from the story we enjoyed last week about Noah and the Big Boat. We had some water activities and enjoyed making colourful rainbows. We all liked getting a bit wet!! 🌈💧☀️. We also celebrated Leon's second birthday.

Good afternoon everyone!! Thank you to all of you who joined us at Little Fishes today. We had a very busy, happy time together!! Our story was about Noah building a BIG boat. We enjoyed making animal noises and decorating colourful turtles. We also enjoyed singing The Hokey Cokey with all the actions!!
If you are able to donate items to the local Food Bank and/or to the church fete in July, we would be very grateful!! Do bring them to LF in the coming weeks. Thank you. 🙏

Good afternoon everyone!! We had a busy morning at church. It was lovely to welcome our new families!! We were celebrating the coming of the Holy Spirit and we enjoyed activities to do with the wind and the fire (not real fire!) both in the church and in the churchyard. The Holy Spirit lives in our ❤️s.

It was also lovely to celebrate Lillian's second birthday and Effie's fourth birthday!! Happy birthday girls.

Next week we are back at the Rooms, on the corner of Park Avenue North and Ashburnham Road ( NN3 2HT).
