Yelvertoft Independent Chapel We are a warm and caring church established in 1662. We seek to be Christ-centred and guided by scripture. We are affiliated to the Congregational Federation.

We are writing the current chapter of our history on line. We meet on Zoom on Sundays at 10.45 to worship in an informal, interactive format, Visitors report feeling very welcome and we are committed to serving our local community. We run a weekly Youth Drop In during term time and host a community library. community groups using the chapel include creative writing.

The presentation event "Jesus: The Evidence" will be visiting Yelvertoft on Sunday 13th September at 7pm.

Derek Mcintyre presents evidence from historical archaeological and documentary evidence that the Jesus of history matches the Jesus of The Bible.

People of all faiths and none are welcome to join this informative session.

All are welcome alternate Wednesday mornings at "Chat at The Chapel" (10.30 am -12 noon) in Yelvertoft Independent Chapel. The next Chat is 6th May. Enjoy tea, coffee, cake and conversation.

On the alternate Wednesdays (next being 29th April ) there is Community Space from 10 am - 2 pm in The Reading Room Yelvertoft. Community Space is sponsored by Yelvertoft Parish Council.

Both "Chat" and "Community Space" are run by some wonderful volunteers.

Today we gather at 10.45 am to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.

The grave is open and the stone is rolled away.

All are welcome to join us on this extra special Sunday.

There will be activities for children.

Today - Good Friday - we have a joint contemplative service (with All Saints) at 3 pm in The Chapel as we remember the suffering and death of Jesus, which demonstrates his love for all human kind.

On Sunday we have a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus at 10.45.
