We are delighted to introduce the very first episode of Out of the Mouth of Babes — a new children's programme created to help young hearts grow in wisdom, faith and good character.

In Episode 1, “Who Pulled Up Ruth's Carrot?”, Aunty Deborah and the children discover an important lesson about patience, respect and taking responsibility for our choices.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents, grandparents and caregivers, please watch and share it with the children in your life.

Part Two: God’s Original Purpose for Humanity
Genesis 1 shows that God created human beings to reflect His character and steward what He entrusted to them.
Genesis 2:15 says:
“And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.”
Adam was given something to cultivate and protect. He was not given permission to exploit, neglect or dominate.
God’s original purpose included:
• Relationship with God
• Reflecting God’s character
• Responsible stewardship
• Fruitfulness
• Healthy relationships with one another (It is not good for a man to be alone)
• Cultivating what God provides
• Protecting what has been entrusted to us
