PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING AND DECLARATION
Scripture: "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His love endures forever." Psalm 107:1
We end our ten-day prayer journey where all prayer should begin and end, with thanksgiving. Gratitude is one of the most powerful postures in prayer. When we thank God for what He has already done our faith rises for what He is about to do. Today we close this guide not with a request but with a declaration — declaring who God is, what He has done and what we believe He is going to do in our lives. We thank Him for His faithfulness.

DAY 9 — TUESDAY | DEVOTIONAL |

HE IS FAITHFUL

"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" — Numbers 23:19 (KJV)

When circumstances look contrary, when your prayers seem unanswered, when delay tries to convince you that God has forgotten — remember: He cannot lie. Every promise He has spoken over your life is still alive.
Hold fast. Trust deeply. His faithfulness is not subject to your circumstances — it is anchored in His nature.
He said it. He will do it. PERIOD.

THE PRAYER FOR OUR FAMILY
Scripture: "As for me and my household we will serve the Lord." — Joshua 24:15

One of the greatest gifts God has given us is family. And one of the most important things we can do for our families is pray for them consistently and fervently. Today we lift our families before God — our spouses, children, parents, siblings and loved ones. We cover them in prayer and declare God's protection, provision and purpose over every member of our household.

Prayer: Abba Father, I lift my family before You today. I thank You for every person You have placed in my life. I build a hedge of protection around my family right now, protect them from harm, danger, sickness and every evil plan of the enemy. I pray for unity in my home, let your love, peace and understanding reign in every relationship among us and our children. I pray for my children, Lord guide their steps, protect their hearts and draw them close to You all the days of their lives, in the mighty name of Jesus. I declare that as for me and my household we will serve the Lord. Let Your blessing rest upon my family today and always. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!

DAY 8 — MONDAY | Part 2 PRAYER
For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." — Ephesians 2:10
You are not here by accident. You were created on purpose for a purpose. Before you were born God had already mapped out a plan for your life — a plan filled with meaning, significance and impact. Sometimes we lose sight of our purpose through the pressures and distractions of life. Today we pray to realign with the divine purpose God placed inside you before you took your first breath.
Prayer points:
1. God I ask that you reveal my purpose and make it clear.
2. Cause me to walk in my purpose boldly.
3. I reject every distraction that pulls me away from my purpose.
4. I silence the voice of the enemy that tells me I am not enough or my life does not matter.
5. I surrender my plans to you, and I ask that your plans take over mine.
6. Abba Father, I pray that you lead me in the path that you have prepared for me and give me the courage to walk in it without apology.
7. Let my life count for your Kingdom Lord Jesus.

WHAT IS PRAYER?

05/06/2026

THE SCHOOL OF PRAYER
Lesson 1: Why We Pray
Theme: Prayer Changes Things
Key Scriptures:
• Jeremiah 33:3
• Matthew 6:9-13
• 1 Thessalonians 5:17
• Philippians 4:6
Introduction
Prayer is one of the greatest privileges God has given to us as believers. Through prayer, we communicate with our Heavenly Father, express our love and gratitude, seek His guidance, and receive His help.
Many Christians know that prayer is important, but few understand why God calls us to pray. Prayer is not simply asking God for things. It is the means through which we develop a relationship with Him and participate in His purposes on earth.
What Is Prayer?
Prayer is communication with God.
It includes:
• Speaking to God.
• Listening to God.
• Worshipping God.
• Thanking God.
• Confessing our sins.
• Presenting our requests.
• Interceding for others.
• Supplicating for others and ourselves.
Prayer is not a religious ritual. It is a living relationship between a child of God and their Heavenly Father.

Reason 1: We Pray Because God Desires Fellowship with Us
From the beginning, God created humanity for relationship.
In the Garden of Eden, God walked with Adam and Eve. Although sin destroyed that relationship, Jesus Christ restored our access to the Father by dying on the cross for us.
Prayer allows us to enjoy fellowship with our heavenly Father daily.
Scripture:
"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." (Jeremiah 33:3)

DAY 4 — THURSDAY | DEVOTIONAL
POWER WORD: NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!

"For with God nothing shall be impossible." — Luke 1:37 (KJV)

We are at the middle of the week — and God is not finished with what He started! That situation you have been praying about, that breakthrough you have been believing for — NOTHING is too hard for Him.

Do not give up. Do not give in. Do not grow weary. The same God who parted the Red Sea is still working on your behalf RIGHT NOW.

THE PRAYER FOR HEALING
Scripture: "He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds." — Psalm 147:3
Healing is not just physical — it is emotional, mental and spiritual too. Many of us carry wounds that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Wounds from past hurts, broken relationships, disappointments and losses. Today we bring every wound — seen and unseen — before the Great Physician. Jesus healed the sick, the broken and the wounded during His time on earth and He is still the same healer today. He has not changed and His healing power has not diminished.
Prayer: Jesus You are the same yesterday today and forever and Your Word declares that by Your stripes I am healed. I stand on that promise today. I pray for healing in my body — from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet let Your healing power flow through me in now the name of Jesus. I pray for healing in my mind — heal every wound, every trauma, every painful memory. I pray for healing in my heart — mend every broken place, restore every lost joy, revive every dead hope. Lord, I receive my healing today by faith. Lord let this be the pray for everyone reading this guide now. Let Your healing touch reach them right now. In Jesus wonderful name, Amen and Amen!

Say it aloud: NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH MY GOD! AMEN!
