This page is to inform the community about the building project being undertaken by Broadmead Baptist Church, Northampton. The current premises used by Broadmead Baptist Church Northampton and Samuels Christian Nursery will be transformed into “The Broadmead Centre”, a new multi-purpose facility located within the existing site, with approximately 75% more floor space than the current building. Th

is will enable the church and nursery to respond to the current challenges arising from a growing congregation and growing demand for the services on offer (such as the youth club, senior citizens’ lunches and money advice centre), and, more significantly, will allow Broadmead and Samuel’s to respond to a wide range of unmet needs in the community. With a strategic location at the heart of the community, Broadmead and Samuel’s cannot ignore the fact that there are parts of the local area which are in the top 20% of the most deprived areas nationally. In recognition of this, and with the desire to continue to deliver the original vision of those who built the church in 1932, Broadmead and Samuel’s have together taken on the “building for our future” project to raise the finance necessary to create a building which is fit for purpose for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
