Church on the Heath (Northampton) A welcoming local community church. Church on the Heath is a joint venture between Kings Heath Baptist Church and the Church of England.

Its members come from a variety of church backgrounds or none at all - with easy to follow services, everyone is welcome. We meet regularly at Kings Heath Primary Academy, North Oval, Kings Heath on Sundays at 11am

This week, we are excited to kick off a brand new sermon series working through the letter to the Hebrews.

On Sunday, we will begin with a quick overview of the whole book before zooming in on the very first section: Hebrews 1:1–4.

You might like to read or listen to this passage beforehand to prepare for the service—or, if you're feeling brave, read through the first few chapters to get a feel for where we are heading in this series!

This week, we are taking a brief pause from our current sermon series on the Parables of Jesus in Matthew's Gospel. Instead, I will be introducing a subject that has been on my heart for a little while: Fasting.

One of our main passages will be Matthew 6:1–18 (though we will be leaving the Lord's Prayer section out for this specific focus).
