Church on the Heath (Northampton) A welcoming local community church. Church on the Heath is a joint venture between Kings Heath Baptist Church and the Church of England.

Its members come from a variety of church backgrounds or none at all - with easy to follow services, everyone is welcome. We meet regularly at Kings Heath Primary Academy, North Oval, Kings Heath on Sundays at 11am

We are so excited to gather again this Sunday, 26th April at Kings Heath Primary Academy.

This is a significant Sunday in the life of our church as it is our Annual General Meeting (AGM). It’s a wonderful time to pause, reflect on everything God has done over the past year, and look forward with hope to where He is leading us next.

🕒 The Schedule

11:00 AM: Our Morning Service begins (this will be slightly shorter than usual).

Post-Service: We will transition into our individual Anglican and Baptist members' meetings, followed by our joint whole-church meeting.

📖 Preparing Our Hearts

Our Bible reading for this service is Hebrews 10:19–25.

It’s a powerful passage about drawing near to God and encouraging one another. We invite you to read or listen to these verses beforehand as we prepare to seek God’s vision for our community together.

Whether you are a long-standing member or visiting for the first time, you are so welcome to join us for the service. We can't wait to see you there! 😇

Thank you Church on the Heath (Northampton) for inviting Helen Burns, our Church Partnerships Coordinator, to speak at your Sunday service last week.

Church on the Heath has supported many BEST students over the years. Its current study partner is Takele Gnare at Nekemte Christian Education College in Ethiopia.

Helen shares: “It was wonderful to see the heart the church family has for people they will probably never meet and their prayers for them.’

Helen spoke about the work of Crosslinks and there was an extended time of prayer for Takele and the work of Crosslinks, plus a delicious lunch!

We are looking forward to gathering together again at Kings Heath Primary Academy this coming Sunday, 19th April. It’s set to be a very special morning as we look outward at what God is doing across the globe!

When: 11:00am start.
Where: Kings Heath Primary Academy.

Special Guest: Helen Burns (Crosslinks)
We are delighted to welcome Helen Burns to our service this week. Helen is the Church Partnerships Co-ordinator for Crosslinks, the Anglican Mission Agency. https://www.crosslinks.org/

As a church, we have a long-standing partnership with Crosslinks, and we currently help support a Bible College student in Ethiopia. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear more about how our support is making a difference and to learn about the wider work of mission.

The Word
To accompany our focus on mission, our Bible reading for the morning is Acts 8:26–40.
