Sunday Family Service

On Sunday we learnt how we can be good friends and what happens when we are feeling small and moving on. And we learnt how Jesus is our best friend.

We read from the House on Pooh Corner and learnt about Small the Beetle and Rabbit. We also heard of when Jesus' friends tried to stop the children coming to say hello to Jesus.

Jesus said No, bring the children to me. Jesus values each of us and as some prepare for new seasons and may feel a little lost or small but we remember that Jesus always welcomes 🙏 us and that we are never alone.

Our Sunday Family Service we explored what being good friends looks like. We did this by building lego bridges. This showed how we can always be good friends by reaching out to one another and no matter how small or lost we feel Jesus will always welcome us. Mark 10:13-16 Through Mark's Gospel we learnt how
Jesus will be our ultimate best friend..

FAMILY SERVICE - End of the school term

Getting the church ready for our interactive family service 🙏 at 10.00am this Sunday at St Mary's Church ⛪️ Far Cotton.

Our readings 📚 come from the House on Pooh Corner and Mark's Gospel. We'll explore the Small Beetle 🪲 and Jesus with Lego, Music, Word and Praise.

Come in grab a coffee find a seat and join us for an interactive service designed for all ages.

EASTER SUNDAY we took our unbound ribbons of cloth and placed them on the church railings. ⛪️

They have now been taken down - the colours are faded in places but God's eternal love ❤️ for us never fades.

We were unbound on EASTER SUNDAY and we continue to be unbound by the Gift of Jesus. 🙏

Join us this SUNDAY 10.00am to hear a bit more of God's love for us.

We come together to give thanks for the past school year and look forward to the holidays.
