On Sunday 31st May, there will be no 11am service of Holy Communion at St John’s. Instead, we will be joining St Peter’s, Balkwell at 10am for a joint service to celebrate Revd Helen’s ministry among us, before she moves with her family to be Vicar of the United Benefice of Bedlington, Cambois and Sleekburn. Following the service we will enjoy a buffet lunch in the church hall, all are welcome!

Councillor Rebecca O'Keefe and Hannah Johnson from the Chirton and Percy Main ward will be at Cedarwood for an drop in surgery every last Friday of the month at 10:00am if any residents would to have a cuppa and a chat.

St John’s Lunch Club meets at 11:30am on Tuesday 12th May. We are serving baked potatoes with cheese and beans at a cost of £3.50 per person. Please comment below if you plan to attend to help with catering. All are welcome.

COMMUNITY OPEN DAY!!!
Sunday 17th May 12-4pm

This will be the biggest event that the club has proposed in over 5 years. A free event and an opportunity to come and see all of the activities on offer at St John’s Green.

Working alongside North Tyneside Council and the Pride in Place team, we want our neighbours to come and get involved. As a sports community charity we want more people to take an interest in what we do, and what we can do with more support.

Activities on the day will include:
Bouncy castles
Beat the keeper shoot outs
Footy skills drills
Softball cricket games
Fairground style games
BKFC boxing exhibitions and fun activities
Music and drinks
Fun and entertainment

Come along, talk to us, sign up to have your say and get involved, bring the kids and enjoy the day.

Fantastic night at St John’s Ceilidh dance, everyone enjoyed the food, dancing and atmosphere. Thanks to everyone who helped and to Miggins Fiddle Ceilidh Band. After expenses, we raised £640 for church funds!
