We are honoured to be hosting the Ash Wednesday service this year.
It will be on Wednesday (obviously!) this week at 7.00pm. Everyone is welcome. This is the start of Lent so please join us to worship together.

We will be holding our Service of Remembrance tomorrow morning (Tuesday). It will start at 10.55am and will be at the Lych Gate (at the entrance to the church). A short service on the 11th day of the 11th month, to remember the fallen and the loved ones who were lost.

A message from David Holes family

We wanted to post this on a local group incase we haven't been able to reach anyone who might have known David Hole.

dad passed away with me and Cheryl by his side aged 74 on 6th Jan 2025.

A quick onset of illness of just 3 weeks shocked our whole family and everyone who helped us with his care in his last few weeks.

He was the best husband, dad, and grandad, things won't ever be the same with out him.

His funeral will take place on weds 12th February at 1.30pm at north bovey church followed by refreshments at the parish hall across the green. All welcome who knew him.

David has always said he wants everyone to be comfortable on the day so there's no formal dress code.
We will have a collection for the air ambulance for anyone who wants to donate.

Please share with anyone who knew dad.

A Vision Day for all the churches that we are connected with in our Benefice is being held on Saturday 28th September from 9.30am in Manaton Parish Hall

Whilst aimed particularly at members of our congregations, any with an interest in the wellbeing of our Parish Churches and Parishes are very welcome to come and help shape the Vision for our Future

No need to book, but it would be useful for catering if you could let a churchwarden know or simply DM us if you would like to be part of this

CONFIRMATION – A Confirmation Service will be held at St Andrew’s Moretonhampstead on Sunday 24th November at 11am

We will be holding a course for those preparing for confirmation and those who would like a “refresher” course in the Christian faith – all are welcome.

This will take place in Moretonhampstead on Monday evenings for 6 weeks starting on 23rd September.
