Please also keep Rev Wayne in your prayers over these coming days and remember a warm welcome is waiting at the Cathedral Church of St Patrick in Armagh next Sunday afternoon as he is made priest.

We’re delighted that Archbishop John will be ordaining two Ordained Local Ministers as Priests/Presbyters on 21st June - Revd Sonya Barnes and Revd Wayne Hawthorne.
Just a reminder, in case that terminology is a little strange to you – an Ordained Local Minister (OLM) is ordained by our church to serve in a particular locality alongside a Rector. He or she is self-supporting, which means the clergyperson has a separate source of income and does not receive a stipend.
The Ordination Service will be on Sunday 21st June at 3:15pm in St Patrick's Cathedral, Armagh. It is an exceptionally holy and joyful occasion. Please pray for Sonya and Wayne as they each take this step in their ministry journey.
Last Saturday Sonya shared her story and this week we hear from Wayne.
