The countdown to our church's Holiday Bible Club is on!

There will be plenty of fun, laughter, friendships, games, creativity and an unforgettable week together. Most importantly, children will discover more about Jesus in a welcoming and exciting environment.

If you’re looking for something for your boy ( or girl!) this summer, we’d love for them to join many other boys within our BB company!

A sad day.... we only have a final few hours at camp remaining but by all consensus this one ranked with the all time favourites as we lived the good life for our week in Ayr.

We've had cracking activities, more kebabs and less sleep and showers than we could handle but we've made some life lasting memories that we'll trade for years down the line and we've built fellowship amongst new and old friends....
What a brilliant group of young men for us as leaders to take and it was a privilege to see bromances develop and foster across the week.

Most importantly of all... we had the pleasure of seeing several young men come to faith for the first time which has been our greatest joy to behold as leaders.. This is what BB and BB camp is all about and we leave our camp having seen boys grow and turn to faith as many have done in generations past. As well as the roll officers played in this journey.., we can't highlight enough the roll that some of our older boys played as throughout the year and the week these boys journeys came along aside their peers and helped guide and stoke their newly grown faith.. We couldn't be more proud of our boys and we could not have asked for a better bunch of lads to take to camp... What a blessing we look forward to a new year at BB ⚓️

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says: "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up

By a mutual consensus Camp has been declared to have absolutely flown in!
Today the we visited Scottish Assault Courses where the boys all had great craic but that came at the expense of being left black and blue!
First up for the seniors was paintballing followed by a gruelling Ninja Warrior Assault course.
The juniors had a great time airsofting followed by zorbing...
All that is left for our last day at camp is to enjoy some final kebabs, games of table tennis, our traditional quiz and of course to watch Crusaders better Chickenville!

Today we enjoyed a glorious Camp day in Ayr with the sun splitting the sky and this morning we finished off our very competitive inter squad sports program where the boys competed strongly and well in good BB fashion.
In the afternoon the boys had free time to roam around Ayr and play sports at green.
For our evening activities we've rented the local leisure centre and put on an inflatable run for the younger troops with the older lads enjoying a 5 aside tournament in another centre.. hopefully it will tire them out if nothing else! ⚓️

We mostly covered hearts, hands, swords and shields on our day at camp today.
First up was a visit to a historical sword fighting society where various lessons were learned and vendettas were settled as well as a thoroughly educational experience!
We finished up with a personal tour of Ibrox where we got a behind the scenes insight into the Famous. Whilst not all of the boys are Rangers fans it was brilliant to get a behind the scenes experience into an iconic team and experience.
Now for a Chippy dinner and sports! ⚓️

The boys all enjoyed their first outdoor activity as we trekked to Glentrool for gorge walking and a mini highland games ( the less said about the journey the better as due to the winding roads we had a record 9 number of boys sick!)
The weather held up which mostly kept the mosquitoes away and all boys were returned safe and sound to camp...some squad sports, bowling and laser-tag in between times has kept them all busy! 🎳🔫🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤢🌊🏐

Tonight at Junior Section, we welcomed 28 of our 3rd Year Anchor Boys and 5 new Bring-a-Friend boys.

The boys joined our current 1st Year boys and we had great fun at a Games Night. This was a mixture of indoor and outdoor sports which finished with our ageless favourite - Tug 'O' War.

This was a great opportunity for us all to get to know each other and we look forward to seeing the boys again in September!
