Today, on Good Friday, we pause in solemn reflection to remember the ultimate sacrifice made for us at Calvary. ✝️

As members of the Orange Institution, we remember Jesus’s suffering and death but we also look forward with absolute certainty to the joy of his Resurrection. The story doesn't end here. 🙏

The funeral of Bro Billy Graham will take place in S Clarke and Son’s Funeral Church Newtownards on Saturday 7th February 2026 at 10.00am. Committal afterwards at Movilla Cemetery.

You're invited to join us at Newtownards Orange Hall for a Dessert Afternoon on Saturday 21st February from 2-4pm.

We'll be serving tea and coffee alongside a large selection of desserts from cheesecake and pavlova to apple tart and chocolate cake.

Money raised from this event will go towards the district and will also support both our junior boys and girls lodges.

A reminder that tomorrow night Sgt Glen Espie will be in Newtownards Orange Hall, telling the story of the two attempts on his life by the IRA while serving in the UDR.

No tickets are required from this event, with doors open from 7.30pm. A retiring collection will be taken.

All change at the top in Loughries on Saturday with Bro David Thompson installed as our new Worshpful Master. Our outgoing WM Bro Adrian Lloyd installed as our new treasurer assisted by Bro Billy Tate with Bro Garvin Wilson installed as our new Secretary. Our new deputy Master Bro Carter Campbell was unable to attend and will be installed at our feb meeting. We wish all the brethren well in their new offices as they seek to push the lodge onwards and upwards 🇬🇧

The lodge installation of officers will be held tonight at 6.30 in the orange hall. A good attendance is requested to support our incoming worshipful master and his officer team. Looking forward to another successful year for the lodge 🇬🇧

Glen has told his story in many venues across the country and always captivates his audience with his tale of twice escaping death at the hands of Republican murderers.

The talk begins at 8pm.
