Ards Elim Church Welcome home! Ards Elim is a Pentecostal Church meeting at 68-70 Court Street, Newtownards. We are all about connecting to Christ and connecting to others.

We look forward to welcoming you on Sundays at 11am and 6:30pm. At Ards Elim, we do LIFE together. In Ards Elim we are committed to bringing our God an offering of authentic, heartfelt worship everytime we meet together. Music is a wonderful way of helping us do just that. Our desire is to glorify the name of Jesus, not merely in church services but that our worship would lead to our lives being transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit to enable us to share the Father's incredible love as we reflect Him to others.

Join us this Sunday evening at 6:30pm as we continue our series, “Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus.”

We will be looking at Luke 7:1–10, where a centurion displays a faith that stopped Jesus in His tracks. Standing in enemy territory, a Roman centurion understands authority and submission in a way religious insiders missed, causing Jesus to marvel. Pastor Mark will be preaching an urgent and powerful message called “Enemy Territory: A Roman Officer’s Shocking Faith.”

Come and discover what it truly means to have faith in God, and possess a faith that moves the heart of God!

FamilyCare-in-cancer is a charity dedicated to assisting families affected by cancer.

Our team provides care and support through monthly meetings and praying for those affected by cancer.

We provide a warm and welcoming environment for those who come along and information shared is held in the strictest confidence.

Lunch is provided by our team.

We hope you and your family are keeping safe and well. Now that all the schools are back and routine is setting in, we have some exciting ministries happening every week at Ards Elim Church just for you and your family!

Mums and Toddlers
Tuesdays, 10:00am – 11:30am (beginning Tuesday 8th September)

Playtime, arts and crafts, stories, sing-alongs, and snacks. Come along and enjoy freshly brewed coffee and tea while your child laughs and learns in a safe, caring environment.

Campaigners
Campaigners is a uniformed organisation for children and young people. We meet every week to engage in a variety of activities, such as badge work, games, and learning new skills.

Beginning week commencing Monday 7th September 2026:
Mondays, 7:00pm – 8:45pm: Inters & Craftsmen (P7 – Age 18)
Tuesdays, 6:15pm – 7:30pm: Eagles (Age 4 – P2)
Tuesdays, 6:15pm – 7:45pm: Junos (P3 – P6)

K4C
K4C is our Sunday School called KIDS 4 CHRIST, for all children of primary school age (P1–P7). We meet every Sunday morning during our Sunday morning Church service to explore the Bible and learn about God as we seek to follow Jesus.

CHANGED
CHANGED is our youth ministry for secondary school youth, meeting every Friday night. We engage in a variety of activities, including sports, table tennis, and pool. Each week, we spend time studying the Bible, worship sessions, and having small group discussions, alongside regular outings, weekends away, and summer camps.

Starting back Friday 11th September, 7:30pm – 9:30pm (Year 8 – Age 18)

K4C Prize Giving is wrapped up, and what a great evening we had!

Tonight, our children took over the service! We celebrated all the hard work of our boys and girls and praised God for everything they have put in. They were amazing in leading our worship, dance, and testimonies!

We also heard a lovely word about praising and following Jesus through our love and service.

We are sad that tonight was Lilianna and Lily’s last time at K4C, but we know they will be back soon to help out at K4C.

A massive thank you to Andrew and all our K4C leaders who faithfully teach our children about Jesus our Lord, and to everyone who came out to support them.

We are finishing our Summer Sermon Series through the First Epistle to the Corinthians, “The Unshakeable Kingdom of God: The Upside-Down Wisdom of the Kingdom.”

The kingdoms of this world tell us to hide our struggles, chase after status, and rely entirely on our own human strength. But the Gospel of Jesus Christ completely flips worldly logic right side up to reveal the Lord’s transforming power!

Pastor Mark’s next message this Sunday morning is called “To Win the Battle, You Must Walk in Love.”

We always gather at the Lord's table for Communion, remembering Jesus and His finished work on the cross as we take the bread and the w**e.

Come expectant to hear God’s Word, to be filled, and to leave equipped to live a life shaped by the Holy Spirit.

Bring a friend, everyone is welcome!
