Tonight’s Bible Study and Prayer Meeting is Cancelled at our Church.

Due to the current tensions in the area, our church session has decided to cancel tonight’s in-person gathering for everyone’s safety.

We look forward to gathering again on Sunday morning.

We invite you to join us this Sunday evening at 6:30pm as we continue our series, “Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus.”

This week, the atmosphere shifts from the isolation of the wilderness to the tension of Jesus’ own hometown. Pastor Mark will be preaching a powerful message called “Hometown Rejection and Riot: Why Jesus’ Neighbours Tried to Kill Him.”

We will be looking at Luke 4:14-30. Fresh from His victory in the desert, Jesus returns to Nazareth full of the Holy Spirit. He stands up in the synagogue, opens the scroll of Isaiah, and declares that He is the long-awaited Messiah. Why did a message of grace provoke a hometown riot?

But Jesus did not compromise. He stood firm on the authority of the Word of God, answering every assault with Scripture, and utterly broke the power of the tempter.

This June, we are starting our powerful series in the First Epistle of Peter, “Character Forged in Christ.”

God wants to bring your life into His forge to have a character like Christ. We are not looking for superficial spiritual experiences; we want a faith that stands unshakeable when the heat is turned up.

Join us this Sunday morning for our message: “Character in the Crucible.”

We will also gather for the Lord's table for Communion, remembering Jesus and His finished work on the cross as we take the bread and the wine.

Come expectant to hear God’s Word, to be filled, and to leave equipped to live a life shaped by His Spirit.

Whether they are space rangers, cowboys, cowgirls, brave shepherdesses, or on a mission to be a hero, we want every child to discover the ultimate truth: God wants YOU to be a major part of His incredible story! 🦖🚀🤠🐑
