Pray Newtownabbey – Next Gathering - Wednesday 14th January

Pray Newtownabbey exists to bring Christians and churches across our town together to seek God for our community. We believe there is a growing spiritual hunger and openness in this area, and we want to respond by standing together in prayer, asking God to move in power in our day.

Our last gatherings have been marked by unity, humility, and a shared heart cry — “Lord, Your Kingdom Come.” We’ve prayed for our homes, our churches, our schools, our young people, and the future of Newtownabbey, and we believe God is stirring something fresh.

We’d love you, your small group, and your church to come and join us as we continue to seek God together for our town. Let’s keep praying and believing for God to move in Newtownabbey.

What a night at Pray Newtownabbey.

There was such a genuine hunger in the room as Christians from different churches gathered with one heart to pray for God to move in our community.

No competition or comparison — just the family of God choosing unity and believing for something fresh in our town.

We also spent time praying over our schools, pupils, teachers, and all those who shape the next generation, asking God to cover them with wisdom, protection, and hope. Moments like this remind us that God is stirring something in this area.

Thank you to everyone who came and prayed with us; let’s keep going and keep believing for God to move in Newtownabbey. 🙏

Next Prayer Gathering: Wednesday 12th November 🙏

We’re so excited for the next Pray Newtownabbey gathering — a space for Christians and churches across our town to come together and simply pray, “Lord, Your Kingdom Come.”

There’s such a sense that God is stirring something fresh in this area — a real hunger and openness for Him to move. Last time, we saw people from all kinds of churches lay aside differences and come together with one heart for our community.

This isn’t about one church or one style — it’s about the family of God across Newtownabbey seeking Him together and believing for transformation in our town.

A special night at the first ever Pray Newtownabbey gathering.

We were so encouraged to welcome leaders and people from different churches across Newtownabbey. Together we admitted where competition has sometimes got in the way, and instead chose to stand side by side in unity, seeking God for our area.

Our prayer is that is becomes but a move of prayer where the church in Newtownabbey comes together with one voice: “Lord, Your Kingdom Come.”

📅 The next Pray Newtownabbey gathering will be on Wednesday 12th November, 7.45pm at Glengormley Methodist Church.

We’d love you and your church to join us as we keep praying for God’s kingdom to break through in our day.

Pray Newtownabbey is a new prayer initiative for Christians from different churches to come together and pray for this area. The prayer is simple - ‘Lord, Your Kingdom Come’.

In a time of significant spiritual openness, particularly among the younger generation, we want to lift our eyes beyond our differences and unite in prayer with one heart and one mind to pray that God would move in power in our day.

Our first gathering is being held in Carnmoney Church on Wednesday 17th September at 7.45pm and we’d love you to spread the word and join us.
