Today at Tots! You're not Alone Event.

We had a very special one off event for parents of pre-walking babies and pregnant couples.

We had a visit from a Health Visitor, a representative from NICMA The Childminding Association, a Midwife and a Beautician.

We had a lovely morning together playing and chatting while drinking tea and coffee.

The babies were able to put their hand prints onto a beautiful keepsake so their parents can remember that They're Not Alone.

We also held the last of our Swap Shops where items were available totally free of charge.

This was our last official Tots until September.

As an extension of our weekly Tots group at Ballyhenry, we are hosting a relaxed morning on Tuesday 9th June, 10am-12pm, exclusively for those expecting a baby and those with pre-walking babies, including partners.

*We will not be able to accommodate any walking toddlers or older children on that particular morning.*

We have invited along a midwife, a health visitor, and a representative from NICMA, the Childminding Association, to have a cuppa and a chat with us.

We will also have a beauty therapist there to treat you to a hand massage!

So, if you fall into one of the following categories...

👉 expecting a baby
👉 have a pre-walking baby or babies

we would love for you to join us!

Please let Sarah Neill know if you plan to attend, so we have a good idea of numbers.

💙💚💛❤️ HILL CROFT ❤️💛💚💙

We had the best day in Hill Croft School yesterday! Anita (Special Educational Needs Coordinator for Scripture Union Northern Ireland) and I had lots of fun in assembly with the senior school, delivering RE workshops with all the senior classes AND we got to see their incredible choir rehearsing!!! 🎵 🎶

We are very excited for our End of School Year Celebration on Thursday as Hill Croft’s amazing choir will be singing and Makaton signing some songs for us! 🥳🎉🎊

Please come along to Ballyhenry Presbyterian Church ⛪️ hear some good news stories from our local schools, a Makaton Bible story, learn some signs, see the incredible choir and enjoy a free ice cream! 🍦everyone is welcome!!!

Anita will sadly be retiring after 23 amazing years with SUNI! 😔 so these were our last RE workshops together. So please thank Anita on Thursday for all her great work with SEN schools, camps and missions! 👏👏👏

Today at Tots we had our Graduation and Teddy Bears Picnic for our last day until September.

Some of our Tots graduated in style as we celebrated them moving on to nursery in September. You'll all be amazing. We'll miss you very much.

We had indoor play, party bags for our Teddy Bears Picnic, water and sand play, crafts, colouring, bubbles, beach balls, hoopla, parachute and balls and, of course, the very popular tattoos.

We had a blast.

We will miss you all over the summer months, but will look forward to welcoming you back in September.

Today at Tots our theme was 'Sewing Seeds'.

We explored the seeds in fruit and vegetables on our Tuff Tray, we coloured, we crafted and we planted our very own sunflower seeds.

We thought about how 'faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains' and we saw just how small a mustard seed is.

The adults tried to guess the approximate number of mustard seeds in a tub with guesses ranging from 115 up to 2200.

The packaging said there was approx 1750 in it (I did not count them individually to confirm that 😜) and we had three people who were joint winners!

We also had two ladies from Gideons visit, who gave out Bibles.

Another fabulous morning together.

Yesterday at Tots our theme was 'hospitals'.

We had a fab morning dressing up and bandaging each other (whether we wanted it or not!).

We played, we read stories, we crafted.

Our prayer today....

Dear God,

Today our theme was 'hospitals'. We thank you for our doctors, nurses, paramedics, call handlers, porters, admin staff, cleaning staff and everyone else who works or volunteers within our hospital community.

They tirelessly care for others. Give them strength and resilience. Help them remain compassionate and kind. Guide their hands and minds.

We pray for their own health and well-being. Protect them from illness.

May they feel appreciated and valued. Let their hard work be recognized and honored.

We had karaoke! Singing and dancing all morning.
