Prayer for Spiritual Renewal on Corpus Christi Sunday

Heavenly Father, on this blessed feast of Corpus Christi, I come before You seeking renewal for my soul. Too often, I become distracted by the cares of life and lose sight of Your presence. Forgive me for the times I have neglected prayer, overlooked Your blessings, or allowed my heart to grow cold.

Through the grace of the Holy Eucharist, revive my spirit and strengthen my faith. Remove anything that keeps me from growing closer to You. Fill me with a renewed desire to worship You, serve others, and live according to Your commandments.

May every reception of Holy Communion transform me from within. Help me become more patient, compassionate, and faithful each day. Let this holy celebration mark a new beginning in my spiritual journey as I seek to love You more completely. Amen.

Today as a diocese we begin the Novena to The Sacred Heart. Uniting as a community of faith the Novena will be prayed in our parish churches, schools, family homes and beyond. We will pray with and for each other. May this be a blessed time for our diocese.

June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart and our Diocesan Novena begins tomorrow on the 4th June. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus we place all our trust in Thee.
