Newtown Evangelical Church We are a Bible believing Church in Newtown, Powys, seeking to share the Good News of Jesus. Why not come along to one of our Sunday services (10am & 6pm)?

Newtown Evangelical Church is a group of over 100 people who have had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. None of us were born Christians, but each of us came to an understanding of our need to be saved at different times and in different ways. We have regular meetings throughout the whole week, both as a whole church (twice on a Sunday) and as smaller groups, to worship God and seek to s

hare Him with those around us. We are committed to reaching our local communities with the great news that the God who made us not only CAN be known, but WANTS to be known, and has done everything necessary to make that possible. We run groups for all ages of children (toddlers to late teens), men, women, young, old - there's always plenty going on! Visitors are always very welcome - whether you're visiting Mid Wales, have moved to the area, or are just thinking about attending a church, we'd love to see you.

As the new term begins and we look forward to our regular activities restarting, here's a quick look back at what's been a busy summer!!

Much to thank God for in the different ways He's enabled us to serve our community and share the love of Jesus ❤️✝️

⭐️ Holiday at Home - a great week in July welcoming lots of senior friends for a week of "Holiday"!🫏
⭐️ Holiday Bible Club - we went "out of this world" with lots of local primary aged children I'm August 🚀
⭐️ Summer Camps - lots of our folk were involved in running summer camps across Wales for young people, including one at our building, while lots of our youngsters had a great time attending those camps! ⛺️

What a wonderful Gospel we have to share. What an awesome God we serve!
We look forward to continuing to serve Him together in this new academic year! ❤️
