Keith furlong artist My name is Keith Furlong,I enjoy painting and photography and paint in various styles and mediums. My name is Keith Furlong, I am seventy years of age.

I was born in Poulton-Le-Fylde, Nr Blackpool in 1947. I studied art at school and have continued drawing
and painting on and off throughout my life. Encouraged by my wife, Janet, I started painting seriously in 2011
and have exhibited in a small way in local exhibitions. Since retiring from work in March of this year, I can now devote more time in pursuing my passions for painting and writing Chri

stian poems and verse. I have always had a love for the countryside and having lived and worked in the Lake District for over twenty years, my inspiration comes from the beauty of the natural features that surround us in nature and the countryside. I also paint more contemporary pictures inspired through Creation which is depicted in my block pictures of Sunsets and Heaven Scapes. I love to paint in oils and exhibit wherever I can. I am looking to take commissions for oils on canvas or canvas board
from pictures or photographs, of favourite scenes etc. I am also a Christian poet, and have recently published my first two books. It's been a while since I painted anything. I have a lot of ideas in the pipeline, all I need now is the time and a new studio. The studio is underway and when Jan is feeling better I will have more time. Will keep you posted.
