Happy Easter! ❤️ May God bless you today as you celebrate the Risen Savior.

"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?'"

Years ago, Cynthia and her brother Peter each received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox.

“We loved the little toys, stationery and colouring books the most — they felt so personal, like someone really thought about me,” Cynthia shared. “My personal favourite is a little toy baby and my brother’s is a toy flute.” 🎁

“I was around 7 years old and my brother was around 5 years old when we received our shoebox,” she said.

📆 Today, Cynthia and Peter are serving together at our Coventry Processing Centre — helping prepare shoebox gifts for children just like they once were.

“It’s an overwhelming joy. Back then, we were on the receiving side, and now being able to help prepare and send the boxes feels like a beautiful full circle. It is an immense privilege that we get to give back what we received.”

Speaking about the Processing Centre, Cynthia added, “The atmosphere — it’s filled with kindness, teamwork, and the shared hope that these small boxes will bring smiles across the world. It displays the wonderful work of all that is being done through the ministry of Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child.”

And her message to others is simple but powerful:
“Every little item we put in the shoebox carries love. We may think it’s small, but for a child, it can mean the world. Sending shoeboxes is a wonderful way of showing God’s love to little children all around the world.” ❤️

You are not a mistake - nor are you the product of blind luck!

Jeremiah 1.5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Galatians 1.15-16
But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.

Genesis 1.26-27
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

Psalm 139.13-16
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

You are not a mistake nor are you here by blind luck - God made you in His image - He knew you before you were born - He crafted you together in your mother's womb - He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for all humanity, and for you personally, that you might be reconciled with Him. Never allow anyone to tell you that God does not love you or want to be with you.

John 3.16-17
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

"To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the HOPE of glory." (Colossians 1.27)

This verse tells us that there is HOPE for the World and that HOPE has a Name: the Name of this HOPE is 'Jesus Christ'.

"...those who HOPE in Me shall not be put to shame.” (Isaiah 49.23)

Put your HOPE where it will not be shaken - in Jesus Christ.
