The current Discipleship Training School at YWAM An Cuan - Rostrevor is working hard to prepare for this weekend’s Follow the Star event! Their live performances will bring the story of Jesus’ birth to life through an immersive, interactive nativity experience.

Children will step right into the narrative as the Christmas Star descends to guide them, leading a journey through Bethlehem and introducing them to the characters of the nativity as the story unfolds all around them. It’s a magical way for families to experience the wonder of Christmas together!

There will also be a crafts table where kids can colour and create their own Christmas star crafts to take home.

An Cuan is thrilled to host the incredibly talented Chris Renzema, for a show on August 6 during this "I Still Love You" UK tour. Chris is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter known for his honest lyrics and dynamic live shows. Since 2015, he’s released four acclaimed albums, built a loyal fan base, played iconic venues like Red Rocks and the Ryman, and garnered numerous accolades, including being named on Pandora’s “Artist to Watch” list and earning a GMA Dove Award nomination for New Artist of the Year. With a sound that’s both personal and thought-provoking, Chris continues to establish himself as a rising voice in modern music.

We’ll explore key themes like God’s reign, shalom, justice, and reconciliation, learning how conflict can become an opportunity to work toward God’s vision of justice and mutual flourishing.

This group is for everyday Christians and leaders who are curious about how their faith can address real-world challenges. Start your journey of being shaped into an instrument of peace, bringing hope and healing to a world in need.
