We had an impromptu Cornish lesson at the community cafe today. The English translation is on the reverse of the flash cards. Does anyone want to play guess the phrase with Gary?

At our Intergenerational play cafe today our Lighthouse Tots (with the help of a grown-up) developed their scissor skills, cutting, sticking and pasting to create these cheery paper flowers. They will make lovely table decorations for our Lighthouse Lounge community cafe on Thursday. Why don’t you come along? We’ll be there between 10 and 12 for coffee and conversation. Hope to see you there.

At our Lighthouse Lounge Community Cafe this morning It was lovely to get an unexpected visit from Claire and Kirsty from the Oasis Centre-Cornwall. We enjoyed conversation, puzzles and a little bit of crafty fun in the mix. Looking forward to the next time we meet together. The Oasis family hubs run from St Eval Community Centre on Tuesdays (9:40-11:30) and Wednesday & Fridays from St Columb Major community hub (behind the church).
