There are people in our communities who silently and bravely face each hard new day. Without complaining but simply watching a loved one lose their identity. Let us remeber, when so many are losing that ability.

Earlier this year, we shared the very sad news that one of Lappa Valley's most-loved characters, Paul Carr-Griffin (better known as Mr Cupcake) had passed away.

In his memory, we've dedicated a bench to him beside the Lakeside Railway - where he brought so many smiles to lots of families.

The Bereavement Journey Courses are designed to help support you through the struggles of bereavement and have been hugely beneficial to the people who have attended the sessions.
