What’s on in July

We have so much going on this month and these are just a highlight for you. Here is some extra information:

🔹If you considering being baptised, join our baptism class this Sunday (5th) after the service to find out more
🔹God has been speaking to us a lot about consecration so we are taking a moment to pause, look at what this means for us and consecrate ourselves
🔹With the summer school holidays, some of our regular rhythms will have their final sessions as they begin their summer pause
🔹Intercultural Sunday is a day for us to celebrate and there will be a bring and share after the service

WE ARE GOOD NEWS PEOPLE

We have loved hearing your good news stories and celebrating God’s faithfulness together. A few weeks ago, Esther shared how she had no partners in school so she when we went home, she asked God for one. God blessed her with not one but two partners!! 👏🏻👏🏻God hears and answers our prayers 🙌🏻

This Sunday we are continuing our ‘Good News People’ series. If you have been thinking about joining us on a Sunday morning, we would love to see you this week. If you have been thinking about inviting someone, now is the time to bring them and share our good news. We will also have space to hear some good news stories 🥳

PROPHETIC WORKSHOP

How do we really hear the voice of God? How do we know that it is revelation from Jesus?

We are so excited to invite you to a Prophetic Workshop led by Helen Azer. Helen is the UK Director of Heartcry for Change. She uses her prophetic teaching gift to train and equip people to become radical lovers of Jesus who are informed, articulate and confident communicators of their faith.

This is a morning to be taught and equipped in the prophetic. It’s free to attend but please do fb up. We would love to see you there!

Last week, some of the staff and leadership team went up to the Elim Leaders Summit in Harrogate. We ate (Nando’s anyone? 😋), laughed a lot, played Perudo and connected. It was such a blessing to worship wholeheartedly side by side with such a freedom to dance in God’s presence!

The theme was ‘Eyes of Faith’ with a focus on our APEST gifting and left us challenged and inspired. Next time you see one of us, ask us one of our take away from the week.

We have come back as a team positioned, aligned, united, inspired and ready for what God has for us at Wave House Church!

WE HAVE GOOD NEWS!!

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17

Gill came to Alpha at Wave House Church last year and was so far from God. Hear how attending Alpha helped her find Jesus and turn her life around.

Alpha is starting this Thursday (22nd January) at Wave House Church. If you are curious about Jesus, have questions about life or have a friend who is in the same position as Gill was, then this is your invitation to come along to Alpha.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS FROM WAVE HOUSE CHURCH ⭐️❤️🎄

It’s been such a fun Christmas together so far! Here’s a little round up…

- We celebrated Jesus coming as our Saviour, born as a baby 👶🏼
- We partied together 🎉 and we all dressed up as our childhood dream job
- We had a family gathering where we looked at the Good News that Jesus brings and our youth and kids hosted us with worship, games and a nativity!! ⭐️
- We had a Half Night of Prayer in the Fire House 🔥
- We had a beautiful candlelit carol service 🕯️

AND there’s still more to come!!
