Timeline display draft, 10m long!
Come, look and give us feedback please
24 March to 9 April at St Mawgan Church
We are quite excited about a big timeline display planned to go all round the wheelchair ramp corner of the church. We will have a full-size paper draft ready by Tuesday 24 March, for people to look at and give feedback on before we decide what changes to make, apply for the necessary permissions and get it printed on some proper display material and installed.
The display starts with the birth of Jesus and goes right through via the Celtic Saints, the main items of the church building all being done by about 1500, the bells and the clock arriving and various milestone dates, to the current day.
We want the display to be engaging for the whole community and visitors. So the broader the range of people who give us feedback the better – from Cornish born and bred to newcomers and visitors, young and old, wheelchair and buggy users, dyslexic and other neuro-diverse people, etc…
There’ll be simple feedback forms in church, but you can give feedback verbally or via my email or in whatever way is easiest for you – deadline midnight Thursday 9 April.
The church is open by 9am every day and closes between 6pm and dusk at the moment.
If you’d like to meet one of the team (four of us) when you come, give me a call or send me an email and I’ll see if I can arrange it. If one of us is there, we might also be able to show you a couple of other displays/guides that are in the early stages of development.
Please spread the word and drop in!
