THE FINAL DAY:
A THANKSGIVING OF GRACE & GRATITUDE 🙏🏾

And so, the celebration reached its beautiful culmination on Sunday, 30th August, 2026, with a solemn Thanksgiving Holy Mass at 10:00 a.m., as hearts gathered in gratitude for the gift of life, the grace of service, and the blessings of a new chapter.

The Holy Mass was followed by a joyful reception, where family, friends, confrères, religious, dignitaries, well-wishers, and distinguished personalities gathered to celebrate, honour, and rejoice with me. Gifts were presented, words of appreciation were shared, and the atmosphere was filled with joy and thanksgiving.

Yet, beneath the celebration was a deeply emotional moment of gratitude. With a heart full of memories and a profound awareness of God’s faithfulness, I sincerely and humbly gave thanks to God for the journey so far; for 50 years of life, for the completion of his tenure as Delegate Superior in Nigeria, and for the grace of being entrusted with a new responsibility as Vicar General of my Congregation.

It was a fitting conclusion to three days of celebration: a life remembered, a service appreciated, and a new chapter entrusted once again to God.

“What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?” ~Psalm 116:12

To God be all the glory, honour and praise, now and always. Amen. 🙏🏾

A NIGHT CLOTHED IN WHITE, A HEART FILLED WITH PRAISE 🙏🏾

The celebration continued in an atmosphere of joy, gratitude, and praise as we gathered for a memorable Night of Praise, clothed in white and united in thanksgiving to God.

It was more than a celebration; it was a sacred pause to acknowledge the faithfulness of God across 50 years of life, to give thanks for the grace that sustained my fruitful tenure as Delegate Superior in Nigeria, and to celebrate a new chapter of service following my election as the Vicar General of my Congregation.

With hearts lifted in worship and voices raised in praise, we celebrated not merely achievements, but the God who makes every journey meaningful and every season fruitful.

Fifty years of grace.
A completed chapter of service.
A new mandate of leadership.
One faithful God.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His mercy endures forever.” ~ Psalm 136:1

A WEEKEND OF GRATITUDE AND A HEART THAT REACHES OUT

The Weekend of Gratitude began with a heartfelt visit to Lady Francisca’s Orphanage, Works Layout, Owerri, where we shared moments of joy, love and warmth with the children.

Beyond the celebrations, the visit was a beautiful reminder that gratitude is most meaningful when it overflows into compassion, generosity and service.

We began the weekend by giving thanks not only with our words, but also through the gift of presence, love and care. A beautiful beginning to a weekend of grace, gratitude and thanksgiving. ❤️🙏🏾
