Another blessed morning with the Urban Pilgrims monthly prayer walk. Today was a quiet walk in Tredegar Park. The weather wasn’t great but we persevered and were blessed to dwell beside still waters before having our cups overflowed with coffee and welshcakes

This coming Saturday is the first of the month and it’s time for our June Urban Pilgrims. This month is a little different, we are taking a quiet walk in Tredegar House Park. Meet at the car park at 10am, and, as is our practice, we finish with a drink - and a cake if it takes your fancy - at the Cafe.
If you’ve not prayer walked with us before, why not make this your first time and enjoy this quiet time together.

What a special afternoon today as we celebrated Pentecost at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church with the pupils from St Patrick’s Primary School.
With the help of Father Michael and Sister Alice, the children helped us discover the gifts we can receive when we accept the Holy Spirit, and the gifts that we receive as we celebrate the birthday of the church.
A beautiful and memorable afternoon!

What are your plans this week? Whatever you have in your diary, don’t forget we will be celebrating Pentecost on Friday at 2pm at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church on Cromwell Road. We are excited to be celebrating the birth of the Church - it is an important highlight of our year.

Also, our June Urban Pilgrims will be a restorative quiet walk at Tredegar House. We meet at the car park at 10am on Saturday 6 June. As usual, our walk will be followed by a visit to the coffee shop for refreshments and cake!
