All we need are the stars of the show! The stage is set, the wardrobe department is ready with costumes for any child (or parent) that wants to take part in our special pop up nativity. Whole families can be in the same play, A nativity where everyone is invited, and included. Just come along tomorrow Sun 14th Dec) 4:30pm for costumes, or 5pm when the service starts, as we journey back to the first Christmas.

We warmly invite you to join in our pop up Nativity Service, where everyone journeys together, back to that first Christmas! Everyone is offered a place in this Nativity, as its message of love and belonging is for us all.
Children of all ages are invited to visit the wardrobe department at 4:30 and can choose any part they want to play. Adults are also invited to choose a costume if they wish, in this inclusive service. The service starts at 5pm, with the Audience being the sound effects team.
A very memorable interactive service, with a powerful message, the nativity included us all.

Everyone is invited to join us this Friday 5:30, as Abercarn community gather for a beautiful memorial star service at New Life Church, Abercarn.
This year we are joined by the Abercarn Primary School Choir who will be singing as part of the memorial service. You will have the opportunity to light a candle, as we switch on the memorial stars, and take time to remember and celebrate loved ones we hold in our hearts.

This is just the first part of a wonderful Christmas lights switch on event planned by the fabulous volunteers from the Abercarn Community Association who work tirelessly all year to light up Abercarn each Christmas. The full evenings programme, with timings is below.

🌟Happy Advent season!🌟
As it's December 1st, we thought we'd let you know about something that's been going on behind the scenes.
Over the past couple of weeks NLCC has delivered the Real Advent Calendars to every class in 5 local schools. Each morning, the kids will have the opportunity to open the advent door and read a snippet of the journey towards the Nativity, not to mention some yummy fairtrade chocolate!

🎊This means that roughly 1,200 local children will be hearing the authentic history of the Nativity this year!🎊

Thank you to everyone who has supported and/or sponsored these calendars in any way. Your contribution will help these kids see a new perspective this festive season! 🎄

What a fantastic evening! Sadly I didn’t get photos of everyone with their wreath, but they were all superb! The room was filled with laughter, singing, and fun as we crafted our way through the evening. I hope you are all very pleased with your creations. Well done!
