The Bells have arrived !!!!

It is nearly a year since the old bell frame was taken out of the Tower - see photos - This month the new frame will be put in place and we will then be ready for the return of our refurbished and new bells - HOW EXCITING!!

" We are removing the old bell frame and associated wood from the tower next week (beginning 3rd February). It will be placed in the church for anyone to inspect. Should you be interested in buying any of it, for whatever reason, you are welcome to make an offer for it. On a first come, first served basis we will accept any reasonable offer. We accept no responsibility for the condition of the wood which may be rotten and full of wood worm. If, once you have viewed it, you wish to buy any of it, please, in the first instance, contact Ian Hastilow who will be in the tower most of the week.”
He will then let me know about your offer.
