Newport Pagnell Baptist Church We meet Sunday mornings for worship and bible teaching. Teas and coffees are served at 10:30am. We would love you to join us!

We have our more reflective service at 9:30am and our gathering for all the family, including children activities, at 11am. Newport Pagnell Baptist Church is a busy and pro-active church right at the heart of Newport Pagnell. We believe God is as real today as He ever was.

God is called by many names throughout Scripture – many names that highlight many aspects of His character.

This Sunday we begin a brand‑new series as we explore some of the names of God and what they reveal about who He is.

As we explore just six of these names, our prayer is that we will experience Him in deeper ways, and worship and love him with fresh awe and reverence.

As our building work gets underway we want to express grateful thanks to all who have made it possible.

Thank you to our church and community for their generous and faithful giving, without which we couldn’t even have started the project.

Thank you to our kind external funders. We are grateful to the Baptist Union Corporation for a £1.25m loan, for the support of a £260,000 grant from the Benefact Trust, £57,000 from the Carbon Offset Fund administered by Milton Keynes City Council and £25,000 from the Laing Family Trusts. Thank you for partnering with us to build a place where community can thrive.

Thanks also to our contractors Neville Special Projects Ltd, our architects BCHN, Greenwood Projects and Greenway & Partners Ltd.

Most of all we are thankful to God for His provision and this incredible opportunity.

START OF BUILD (Part 1): It’s happening!

After many years of listening to our community, planning, fundraising, prayer and hard work our contractors, Neville Special Projects, begin the transformation of the rear of Lovat Hall, home to Newport Pagnell Baptist Church and very busy community centre.

This aging, uninsulated and leaky space will be replaced with a new ground floor meeting room, new kitchen, welcome foyer with seating, first floor meeting space that can be subdivided, first floor foyer with refreshments area and additional toilets, lift/stairs and new plant room, including air source heat pump.

We are excited for this to be a fit-for-purpose space for our church and community that will benefit all who use it.

We are grateful to God and all those supporting the project for getting us this far.
