We are run by volunteers who do so to offer something back to the community of Heaton and would love to see you. So if you are looking for a cafe on Chillingham Road, please come and give us a try. Dear fellow followers of Christ,

It is with a heavy heart that I post this message to let you know that despite best endeavours, key vacant positions to continue the life and mission of Heaton Methodist Church (HMC) have been unable to be filled and on Wednesday 7 October 2020 the Church Council decided that Heaton Methodist Church seek permission to cease to meet.

This decision will go to the next Methodist Circuit meeting (the date to be confirmed) and will then go to the District Policy Committee. After this a plan will be made to bring everything to a close.

I would ask you all to pray for us and everyone who used HMC as a place to meet in any way at this time of uncertainty.

It has been a pleasure to serve as part of the HMC Leadership team over the past seven years and try to be a beacon of Christ in our community.
