Listen to the testimony of our dear sister and life group leader, Lon. May her story encourage us to trust in God’s plans, even when we cannot yet see the way ahead. 🙏

As she completes her studies here in Newcastle, let’s also pray for an open door for her return, trusting that God’s plans are good and that His timing is perfect.

📢 We are honoured to welcome Pastor Wilson, President of (HIM), together with his wife Pastor Lai Ling to our church this Sunday. They are the founding pastors of Hope Church Brisbane, Australia, and also oversee Hope churches across Oceania and North America.

Ps Wilson is passionate about teaching, equipping leaders, and building the church. He will be bringing the Word to us during our Vision Sunday service.
Ps Lai Ling is known for her leadership in intercession and prophetic ministries within HIM. She is also passionate about pastoral care and counselling.

They’ve travelled all the way from across the world to be with us, let’s give them a warm welcome and all the love of our global Hope family 🌏 ♥️ See you Sunday!

We’ve come to the end of our expository journey through Ephesians!

1️⃣ This letter begins with the reminder that God’s plan has always been bigger than us. Through Jesus, He is creating one united people, brought together by grace and made part of His family.

2️⃣ Paul then turns to how the Gospel should shape the way we live. The Church is called to be a united family, made up of different people with different gifts, all serving one another through the power of the Spirit.

3️⃣ The letter closes with a reminder that there are spiritual forces that will always try to divide what Jesus came to unite.

As a church, may we hold tightly to this message and continue to equip and cover one another. We shall stand together in the victory we already have in Christ 💪🏻
