Why I’m Standing:
I believe in a community where everyone feels seen and supported. Here’s more about the experience, values, and energy I bring:
• A Presence on Our Streets
Since 2019, I’ve served as a Street Pastor spending countless evenings out at Night helping out. This role has taught me how to stay calm under pressure, listen without judgement and respond to real life challenges from loneliness and vulnerability to safety concerns on nights out. I’ve built trust with people and with those working across local services, and I understand firsthand the importance of visible, compassionate support in keeping our community safe and connected.
• Investing in the Future
Through my Youth Initiative with DataKirk Lab, I work directly with young people to open doors into technology. This isn’t just about coding or AI literacy, it’s about confidence, creativity, and opportunity. I’ve seen how access to digital skills can transform a young person’s outlook, especially for those who might otherwise feel left behind. I bring a strong commitment to education, innovation, and ensuring every young person has the chance to thrive.
• Connecting Generations
I lead a passionate team of Young Voices who visit residential homes, creating meaningful moments through music, poetry, and conversation. These visits are about more than performance. They build relationships, reduce isolation, and remind our elderly residents that they are valued and remembered. This work has strengthened my commitment to dignity, care, and inclusion at every stage of life.
• School Governor
As a School Governor, I play an active role in supporting leadership, improving standards, and ensuring every child has access to a high-quality education. This experience has given me insight into the challenges schools face, as well as the importance of strong partnerships between families, educators, and the wider community.

I will bring the same hands-on, people-first approach into public service, someone who shows up, listens carefully, and takes action where it matters most. I believe leadership starts with being present, accessible, and accountable to the people you serve.
