Today our PCC continued their commitment to providing a safe environment in our church by attending thier training session on Safeguarding, and Raising Awareness of Domestic Abuse.

Safeguarding is a whole church responsibility that we take very seriously, so we are very grateful John from the Safeguarding team at Diocese of Newcastle, Church of England could attend and lead us through.

Today we said the BIGGEST thank you to Amanda Boyd who has ran our tots group for 5 years!
She has dedicated so much time and love to families in our community, bringing joy to children every week with crafts, music, games and a safe, welcoming space for parents and carers

Maybe not *quite* angel voices, but oh what an afternoon we had singing!

Thank you all so much for joining us for some Hymns and Pimms today... from 'Shine Jesus Shine' to 'Jerusalem', 'Be Thou My Vision' and 'When I Needed a Neighbour' we had such a wonderful time!

Bug thanks to Carol Conway and Carol Barclay on refreshments, and Raymond Dean managing our requests!

It was wonderful to meet some visitors to our church today - we were talking about supporting the ministry and mission that happens here in Kenton.

We are able to do so much with the time and talents of our small but amazing volunteer team - but it does take a little treasure too!

To our amazing stall holders... you were incredible. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into today!

And to our amazing community who came to support us... buying treats, raffle tickets, enjoying a cuppa - without you we couldnt sustain the ministry in our parish!
