New Shahadah today Alhamdulillah.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Alhamdulillah, today a sister embraced Islam at Newcastle Central Mosque, and her journey to Islam is truly inspiring.

She shared that her past life was filled with many negative experiences and challenges. However, while working at McDonald’s in recent times, she regularly interacted with Muslim delivery drivers. It was through these everyday interactions that she became deeply inspired by their good manners, respectful behavior, and Islamic character.

Their kindness, honesty, and conduct left a lasting impression on her heart. Through observing their actions, she became curious about Islam and began researching the religion for many months. With sincere reflection and study, she eventually realized: β€œThis is what I want in my life.” Today, Alhamdulillah, she took her Shahadah at Newcastle Central Mosque.

This is a powerful reminder for every member of our Muslim community: wherever you work, whatever role you have, your character matters. People are watching, observing, and being influenced by the way we speak, behave, and treat others. Whether you are a delivery driver, shop worker, teacher, businessman, or student β€” you are representing Islam.

We often do not realize that a simple act of kindness, honesty, patience, or good manners could become a means of guidance for someone else.

May Allah ο·» make us all true ambassadors of Islam, allowing people to see the beauty of Islam through our actions and conduct. May Allah keep our new sister steadfast upon Islam and bless her journey with guidance, peace, and goodness. Ameen.
