We at JWM for blood and shunning practices felt there was a strong need to highlight the practices of Watchtower in its blood and shunning procedures. We believe that the blood law written in the Old Testament and adhered to in the New should be treated as Jesus taught in Mathew 12: “I DESIRE MERCY, NOT SACRIFICE you would not have condemned the innocent. For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath. , “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? HOW MUCH MORE VALUABLE IS A PERSON THAN A SHEEP!”

The statistical figures on these human sacrifices and needless deaths due to the Watchtower blood policies must now reach into the thousands today in 2018. Unfortunately these statistics would only be known by the Watchtower and its Hospital Liaison Committee as these figures have not and will never become public knowledge.

Many too have taken their own lives because they cannot live with the emotional pain that comes with the Watchtowers policy on shunning. This is where the member loses all of their JW family/JW friends (their whole social network) if a baptised person disagrees with any part of the Watchtowers religious doctrine and they voice their opinion Or, if a person is believed to have sinned, a case is brought against a person before a judicial committee behind closed doors and in secret - they are very often expelled from the congregation and their social network ripped away from them. A cruel and evil practice!

NOT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS AND IN SECRET!

1 Timothy 5;20 “Do not entertain an accusation against an elder, except on the testimony of two or three witnesses. But those who persist in sin should be rebuked IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, (not in secret behind closed doors) so that the others will stand in fear of sin. I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus and the elected angels to maintain these principles without bias, and to do nothing out of partiality”

Galatians 6:1 BEAR ONE ANOTHER’S BURDENS (Not shunning and tearing away a persons whole social network)

“Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of GENTLENESS. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.”

With hope for the future - May more and more persons who have been affected by these cruel policies start to stand up for their human rights and have the Watchtower change its policies before it ruins many more lives, either by sacrifice or emotional pain!

2 Timothy 2;24-26 “And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with GENTLENESS.

Colossians 3:13 “ Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive”

Matthew 18:17 “If he refuses to listen to them, TELL IT TO THE CHURCH and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector” - JESUS SAT AND ATE WITH THE GENTILES, PROSTITUTES, SINNERS AND TAX COLLECTORS - HE CAME TO THIS WORLD NOT FOR THE ALREADY RIGHTEOUS BUT TO OFFER SALVATION TO THE SINNERS OF THIS WORLD

James 5:16 “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working”

1 Peter 4:8 “Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins”
