Please pray for Terry and June Evans, family and friends at the sad and sudden loss of their sister, sister in law and friend, Margaret 🙏🏼

We are devastated to announce that Maggie Evans, a long time member of Christ Church Jerusalem died today. She was killed outside her home when a crane mounted on a truck fell over and struck her. She died shortly after arriving at the hospital.

As a young woman, Maggie left her home in England to serve as a nurse in Bangladesh before coming to Israel in 1980. She was a resident of Jerusalem for forty-five years where she worked for the Near East Ministry (NEM) and for Sha’are Tzedek hospital until her retirement. She supported and contributed to other Christian ministries including the Christ Church Mercy Fund and Christian Friends of Israel.

Maggie was known for her prayerfulness and was well loved for her kindness, her encouraging words, and her care for the sick and needy.

We will announce details of her funeral when they become available.

We have been asked to share a prayer request for a man who is currently in hospital and being treated for pneumonia and is requiring some oxygen to help with his breathing (we haven’t been provided with his name). Please pray for his healing and comfort and for his family and medical staff caring for him.

Brielle is a nine-year-old girl from Idaho, USA battling stage 4 neuroblastoma for a second time, having previously achieved remission after a grueling treatment at age four. Her resilience, positive attitude, and love for dancing have inspired many, leading her to become a symbol of hope and advocacy for childhood cancer research, with her journey documented on social media under hashtags like and

Sadly Brielle and her family have been told that there is nothing more that can be done and she has been placed on hospice care.

She has in the last day or two deteriorated and her family are now faced with the uncertainty of which way things are going to go.

Please pray for this beautiful girl and her family at this difficult time and if the Lords plan is to do a miracle and heal Brielle earth side then let it be but if it’s not, please pray that Brielle is comfortable and that peace is all around them.
