We had a wonderful day at St Joseph’s Stanley for our first preparation day for registered helpers who are travelling with us for the first time.

It was great to meet everyone and we’re looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

This Sunday we have our first training day for first time volunteers.

⏳The Countdown is on! ⏳

It’s now only 2 months until we begin our pilgrimage to Lourdes! As you know, this our 100th diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes.

The final preparations are being made, and our hearts and minds are focused on this beautiful spiritual journey. Whether we are traveling to serve or seeking healing and reflection, it is sure to be a transformative week.

Please keep all our pilgrims in your prayers.

🐎🏁 Kellet Cup Race night 🐎🏁
As part of the ongoing centenary pilgrimage celebrations, the Kellet Cup Race night took place at St Teresa’s last night. And what a night it was- great fun was had by all while raising funds to support the pilgrimage to Lourdes this summer.
A huge thank you Pat and Chris and all the team involved in the organisation of the night. Thank you to everyone who sponsored races, bought horses and donated raffle prizes, and thank you to everyone who came along on the night.

If you are joining us tonight it would be helpful if you could bring a little silver change with you (50p and 20p). This is to help with payouts and settling bets.

We will also have a tuck shop running with pop, sweets and crisps. This will be cash only.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this afternoon at St Joseph’s for our Rosary Procession. Seeing everyone come together in prayer and public witness was truly moving. It was a powerful reminder of the strength we find when we pray together as one body in Christ.

2026 Hexham and Newcastle Hospitalité AGM
