Church of St John the Baptist, Newcastle Beautiful medieval church in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. The Church is open every day from 8.30am and welcomes visitors from all over the world.

St John’s is a vibrant, friendly church, with a daily Eucharist and a strong choral tradition maintained by its excellent choir. Concerts, recitals and other events add to the cultural repertoire, and the church is set in pleasant and attractive gardens – one of the few green spaces in the city centre – which is enjoyed by the local community and visitors to the city alike. Leaflets are available in English, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Polish, Swedish and Spanish.
