🎉✝️ What a joyful day it was yesterday as, during our Sunday Sung Eucharist, we celebrated baptisms, confirmations and the reception of new members into the Church of England.

In the afternoon, our Dean, Lee, joined Bishop Helen-Ann and many others for the Installation of the new Bishop of Durham, The Rt Revd Rick Simpson, at Durham Cathedral. We extend a very warm welcome to Bishop Rick and pray for him as he begins this new chapter of ministry.

💛 Love meeting people and being part of busy, vibrant events? Our Visitor Experience Officer role could be just the thing for you. (📸 Photos by Tim Watkinson from this year's Dialogue Society Iftar Dinner.)

Alongside making sure our day-to-day visitors get a warm welcome, this role is all about getting stuck into a wide range of events, fundraising initiatives and activities. You’ll liaise with event organisers, help sort out the practical details, and work with volunteers to make sure everything runs smoothly.
