What a Sunday we have to kick off September & the new Methodist year!

Tomorrow morning Adam continues our 3 week mini-series looking at the book of 1 John! If you missed Alison’s message last week you can catch up and check out the whole service on YouTube.

Then at 7pm we start our new Prayer & Worship evenings as we come together to lift up the student ministry at JMC.

We’d love to see you there!

What a perfect way to end our summer socials! 🏖️✨

Our church family headed out to Holy Island and Seahouses for a day full of sunshine, community, and an epic sandcastle competition - fun was truly had by all.

Congratulations to our sandcastle competition winners (and prize wearers! 🏅) and a massive thank you to everyone who made this summer’s events so special!

🙏 Try Praying — Day 7: Glimpse

Last Sunday, Alison concluded our series with Revelation 21:1–5, offering us a glimpse of God’s promised future: creation renewed, tears wiped away, and all things made new.

The Day 7 challenge invites us to step back, look towards the horizon, and pray:

“God, You are bigger than this world and bigger than my biggest thought of You. Be the biggest thing in my life.”

As our seven-day journey ends, may we continue praying with honesty, openness, and hope—trusting that God is still at work.
