To mark the first day of “love your burial ground week” and “churches count on nature” we’re holding a Grounds Day to help care for our beautiful churchyard.

…to help weeding, tidying, putting up bird boxes, making a big hotel, and well as identifying and recording wildlife, and all sorts of things!

Our resident organist Chris Haresnape is giving an organ recital at Newcastle Cathedral on Monday 8th June at 1:05pm.

At the end of today’s Pentecost service we were driven outside, a reminder that we are always sent into the world to use our God-given gifts for the good of all and for the building up of the Church. 🔥🌬️

Tomorrow is the great festival of Pentecost, fifty days after Easter. It is the conclusion of the Easter season but in many ways the birthday of the Church, where we celebrate the Holy Spirit’s gifts on us all.

We finish our 10am service outside, a reminder that we are sent out to proclaim the Good News.
