It gives us great pleasure to announce the appointment of Pandit Ji Nayan Vyas from Saturday 1st September to work alongside our most respected Pandit Ji Bal Krishan Gautam

The temple Managment committee see this as a major progression at the temple as with the provision of two Pandit Ji’s we aim to serve the Hindu community even better.

From 3rd September we will extend opening hours as below:

8:30am - 12:30pm
16:30pm - 20:30pm

Our hearts are with the people of Nepal following the devastating floods that have caused unimaginable loss and suffering.

The latest figures are heartbreaking — 903 people have lost their lives, with more than 4,300 people still missing. Families have been torn apart, homes destroyed and communities left desperately in need of help. (Radio Nepal Online)

Helping someone in need, without expectation of reward, is at the heart of our faith. In times of tragedy, our dharma calls upon us to stand together and help those who are suffering — regardless of borders, background or belief.

🕉️ Hindu Temple Newcastle is therefore launching an appeal to raise funds for those affected by the Nepal floods.

Every contribution, no matter how small, can help provide essential food, shelter, medical assistance and support to families affected by this terrible disaster.
