What a wonderful afternoon at Holy Spirit Church, with Bishop Mark for Sinachi’s confirmation…. The afternoon was filled with love and joy, and it was a double celebration as it was Sinachi’s birthday too! Blessed, blessed and blessed again! 🫶🙏🏼🫶

Today in Sunday J.A.M (Jesus And Me) we celebrated Trinity Sunday…. It’s a bit of a challenging one! God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit, three in one. Now, we could have avoided it, we could have chose another reading, but in Sunday J.A.M we LOVE a challenge!!!
So we played Trinity Runaround! (For those of you who remember Runaround with Mike Read in the 70’s)
We chatted about what the Trinity means, One God, but with three different ‘features’ we had 3 stations God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, we had ‘flash card question’s’ and we had to run to the ‘station’ we thought represented the question.
Maybe for those Theologians among us this might be ‘uncomfortable’ but I can guarantee we had lots of fun learning about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the difference they make to our lives. Super Blessed! 🙏🏼🫶

This morning in Sunday JAM we celebrated Pentecost…. The coming of the Holy Spirit. We watched a short movie about Pentecost and had popcorn 🍿… we chatted about, ‘what is church?’ I asked the children ‘is church a building?’ And they all said ‘No! Church is anywhere we come together to worship Jesus. In a field, in a house, in a school, …. In the MUGA (multi use games area) 🤣
We chatted about being the Church’s birthday so we made Pentecost party hats and had……. A Picnic! With a birthday cake. Blessed! 🫶🔥🫶🔥🫶🔥
