Hi everyone,
Here's your weekly guide to what's happening at Westerhope Methodist Church this weekend...
Tomorrow (Sunday 21st) at 10.30 am we have our Sunday morning service which this week is led by Rev Maureen Lloyd, who many in Westerhope will know from when she was our minister a few years back.
We don't have an evening service tomorrow but the whole group of churches to the northwest of Newcastle will be getting together at 2.30 pm for the Wesley Tree Service outside Scots Gap Methodist Church. This is a service to celebrate the founder of the Methodist Church, John Wesley, who used to hold services under trees! Want to find out more? And of course, 10 til 11.30 on Monday morning it's our weekly 'Oasis' coffee morning.

So what's on at Westerhope Methodist Church this Sunday?

At 10.30 am we have our Sunday morning service which this week is led by Barbara Lanyon.
And at 6 pm we have our (normally) smaller evening service led by Rev Tim Woolley.
And don't forget... on Monday morning it's our weekly 'Oasis' coffee morning from 10 to 11.30. Come along and have a cuppa, a natter, and maybe a few bickies. The church itself will also be open for individual prayer or reflection.

Hi everyone,
Apologies for the late post (I.T. problems!). Here's a quick guide to what's happening at Westerhope Methodist Church this Sunday (7th June):
At 10.30 am it's our morning service, led by Michael Ball, and at 6 pm we have our evening service led by Rev Keith Albans. The morning service will be followed by refreshments in the church hall, so feel free to stay for a cuppa and a natter!

Carpet Bowls at Westerhope Methodist Church, every Thursday at 1.30 pm :)

Come along to Westerhope Methodist Church tomorrow (Thursday 4th June), or on any Thursday for that matter, for a game of Carpet Bowls.
Fun starts at 1.30 and goes on until about 3.15.
Don't worry if you're not international standard; we don't take ourselves too seriously, we just enjoy the game and an afternoon of laughter and gentle exercise.
We charge £3.00 which includes tea/coffee and biscuits, although if it's your first time here we might let you have a go for free, because that's what we're like 🙂

Quick reminder: Our Monday coffee morning is back on this week after the Bank Holiday break! Come along every Monday between 10 and 11.30 am for a cuppa, a bickie or two, and a natter if you want one :)

Hi everyone,
Here's a quick guide to what's happening at our church tomorrow (Sunday 31st May):
At 10.30 am, it's our morning service led by Rev Tim Woolley. This will include the blessing of our pastoral visitors (the folks who look after the welfare of our members and adherents). And at 6 pm we have our evening service led by Rev Andrew Sterling.
And a quick reminder... the coffee morning is back on this Monday morning after a break for the Bank Holiday.

Just a quick reminder: Our Oasis coffee morning is not on this week as our team are having a well-earned break for the Bank Holiday.
Normal service will be resumed on Monday 1st June :)

At 10.30 am we have our Sunday morning service, which this week is 'Alternative Worship' (which sounds interesting!) led by Barbara Lanyon.
And at 6 pm we have our evening service led by Alan Golphin.

As always at Westerhope, all are very welcome!
